AMS Software Inc. and National Rural Health Consultant Mark Lynn Set to Offer Solutions Targeted to Rural Health Clinics
Wake Forest, NC (August 8, 2013) – AMS Software, Inc. (www.ams-software.com), rural health practice management experts, and Rural Health Consultant Mark Lynn DBA Healthcare Business Specialists (www.ruralhealthclinic.com), today announced the formation of a strategic alliance. This joint venture means that the two firms will be working in parallel to deliver products and services to rural health clinics across the country. The collective solution set, which is designed specifically to meet the challenges faced by rural health administrators, will include practice management and EMR software with UB-04 Split-Billing Technologies, rural health clinic evaluations, cost reports, chart audits, and mock Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) inspections.
Matt Kannan, chief operating officer for AMS Software remarks about the alliance, “While we have had a close relationship historically with Mark, this alliance takes the relationship to a more formal level. We are so thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Mark and his staff to deliver quality products and services to Rural Health Clinics across the country.”
In its first implementation under the new alliance, Alice Makela Boykin, AMS Director of Rural Health Clinic Programs, and HBS Head Consultant Mark Lynn oversaw hundreds of annual cost reports and RHC evaluations in the southeast. Tracey, Administrator of an RHC in Barnwell, SC remarks about the recent services provided to her rural health clinic, “AMS already handles our Software and our Rural Health Billing, so it just seemed logical to have them handle our cost reports as well. Alice and Mark did a wonderful job for our clinic and we are extremely pleased with the decision to outsource this time-consuming item to experts that handle these issues every day.”
Mark Lynn, Head Rural Health Consultant for HBS also remarks about the newly formed alliance, “I have worked with AMS representative Alice for many years assisting rural health clinics in the southeast, and it is our history together that creates a very positive environment for this collaboration. Our companies complement one another and respect each other for our unique capabilities, and I feel like together we will be a powerful supporter of many rural health clinics and their associates for years to come.”
In addition to working directly with rural health clinics, both companies have plans to conduct joint seminars and webinars to supplement many of the state-sponsored rural health association conferences in the coming months.
